My over twenty-five years as a professor, author, speaker, and mission leader have been dedicated to forming people for lives dedicated to healing our communities.

I've written or co-written books on community renewal, theology, spirituality, and marriage/family life.

​

My current work is dedicated to exploring philosophical and theological resources for healing community life, drawing from the work of Bernard Lonergan, René Girard, Charles Taylor, Pierre Hadot, and others.

​

I teach in the Philosophy Department at Boston College.
